Gentle Giant ™ MODEL IFP6000 - Internal Full Platform 6000 Semi-Automatic Wheelchair Lift This internally mounted hydraulic unit has been a proven winner over the years. It caters for all types of manual and electric wheelchairs. The platform is bi-folding which allows the unit to remain very compact giving ease of handling and good vision through the rear window of the van. This unit also features a world first safety barrier. The unique barrier prevents a wheelchair leaving the vehicle when the lift platform has been lowered below the vehicle floor level. Emergency Exit - In case of emergency, quick easy exit is possible simply by manually pushing the wheelchair platform outwards. ------------------------------
Gentle Giant ™ MODEL PSV6000 – Public Service Vehicle 6000 Full Platform Semi-Automatic Wheelchair Lift This Wheelchair Lift has a longer platform than the IFP6000 and is also fitted with fold down handgrips. The PSV 6000 is ideally suited for Taxi or Minibus use where a longer platform is required to cater for electric scooters. ------------------------------
Gentle Giant ™ MODEL IAP6000 - Internal Access Platform Semi-Automatic Wheelchair Lift This unit has all of the characteristics of the full platform unit with the exception of the platform area. The centre of the platform has been removed to leave a clear space of 265mm in width. This allows access through the stowed wheelchair lift platform for hand luggage and parcels. Another of the benefits is being able to push the wheelchair
into the rear of the van by walking directly through the
platform behind it and not having to push from the side.
Gentle Giant ™ CUSTOM 6000 - Access Platform Semi-Automatic Wheelchair Lift This Wheelchair Lift can be manufactured especially to meet the client's requirements. The platform can be wider or narrower than the IFP6000 and PSV6000 series. ------------------------------
All Gentle Giant Wheelchair Lifts are manufactured to comply with the strict requirements of the Australian / New Zealand Standard for Wheelchair Construction and Design. They also meet UK and European Standards and the new Motability UK Codes of Practice. The units are finished in a grey powder coating and are built to give many, many years of durable service.

As
the picture depicts, the UB Series Wheelchair Lift
is very compact and is only visible when deployed.
Once the Locker Door is removed or opened the Wheelchair
Lift is ready to be deployed for use. |

Once
powered out of its cassette enclosure, the UB Wheelchair
Lift can have its BI-folding platform opened, handrails
and safety flaps extended into position. The Wheelchair
Lift can now be lowered to the ground or raised
to vehicle floor level ready for use. |

We also manufacture the UB1000 for large vans and
the UB3000 for vehicle floor heights up to 1500mm. |
