BRAIDEN INTERNATIONAL
UK LTD was formed in England in 2005 as an independent
company, previously trading under the name of Braiden International
Ltd as a branch of the original Company based in New Zealand.
Braiden International UK Ltd is a Motability Accredited
Company, which manufactures & supplies a range of
Innovative Quality Mobility Products for Elderly &
Disabled People. These products are known as the “Gentle
Giant” range of products.
All “Gentle Giant Products” are
Motability Accredited.
Braiden International Ltd was incorporated in New Zealand
in 2002. This company was formerly Braiden Enterprises Ltd,
which was founded in 1990 by Sue and John Braiden in New
Zealand
The first product designed and built was a hydraulic
wheelchair lift in 1990, this was marketed under the trade
name Gentle Giant™. During the
following years several further products were designed
and developed to provide mobility for Sue and John's eldest
daughter Jessica who is physically disabled. During the
following years, Braiden International UK Ltd has become
one of the leaders in designing, developing & manufacturing,
innovative quality mobility products for Elderly &
Disabled People in New Zealand, Europe & Worldwide.
Over a period of fifteen years, as part of the company’s
programme of Continuous Quality Improvement, all Gentle
Giant products have been further developed to incorporate
many subtle changes, which can be attributed to the natural
evolution of all products. We are always looking to the
future and keep all products up to date with the latest
technology, also achieving the appropriate Standards &
Codes of Practice applied in various countries worldwide.
The basic philosophy of Braiden International UK Ltd is
that all Gentle Giant Products are designed & manufactured
to the highest standards with particular attention to Safety,
Functionality, Reliability & Dignity with a strong emphasis
on Aesthetics for every product.
All Gentle Giant Products are available in both
Right Hand & Left Hand Options.
All Gentle Giant Products carry a 36 Month Warranty.
